In 1987, the Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli acquired the rights to the dormant Bugatti brand and founded Bugatti Automobili S.p.A. in Campogalliano, Italy. In the four years that followed, Artioli produced a Bugatti supercar with the help of some of the greatest talents in the automotive industry. The car was revealed to the world on 15th September 1991 on Place de la Défense in Paris to mark the occasion of Ettore Bugatti’s 110th birthday.

The EB 110 was a worthy representative of the brand’s tradition, with several superlative Bugatti features. It was the world’s first car with a carbon-fibre chassis, a six-speed gearbox, a 12-cylinder engine with five valves and four turbochargers, and permanent four-wheel drive. In the ultimate Super Sport configuration – the EB 110 SS – the car achieved a top speed of 351 km/h .

Veyron 16.4

16 cylinders, 1,200 PS, a maximum torque of 1,500 Nm, 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a world record speed of 431.072 km/h - these are the figures that describe the magic and uniqueness of the ultimate supercar of the modern era. The Veyron has caused a sensation across the world ever since its launch ten years ago.

The development of the Bugatti Veyron represented one of the greatest technical and engineering challenges ever overcome in the automotive history. At the time, Bugatti developers were faced with four key specifications: the car had to transfer more than 1,000 PS onto the road, achieve a top speed in excess of 400 km/h, accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds and - the biggest challenge of all - still be suitable for 'driving to the opera' in comfort and style.
In addition to its stunning performance, it is this everyday practicality and suitability for comfortable, luxurious travel which makes the Veyron so unique.

Today, all of the planned 450 vehicles have now been sold: 300 coupés and 150 open-top super sports cars. In the Veyron, Bugatti has created an automobile icon and established itself as the world's most exclusive supercar brand.

The Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport combines the pioneering performance specs of the Veyron coupé with the alluring form of a roadster – and takes the experience of open-top driving in a supercar into a new dimension. In addition, the transparent roof allows drivers to directly experience their surroundings, even when the roof is up. Whether you are cruising elegantly or pushing the car to the limits of its power, with speeds of up to 360 km/h with the roof down and 407 km/h with the roof up, you are guaranteed an absolutely thrilling driver experience and a powerful adrenaline rush.

The Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport celebrated its world premiere in summer 2006 in Pebble Beach, California, where the first model was auctioned for over three million US dollars.

The Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is completely sold out.
The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is the roadster version of the Veyron 16.4. The name “Grand Sport” recalls two of the most beautiful models in the Bugatti brand’s history: the Type 40 and Type 43 from the late 20s and early 30s, which were the first models to be given the moniker “Grand Sport” by Ettore and Jean Bugatti. These roadsters were the ultimate sports cars of their day.
